An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Pfizer Consulting & Execution (PCE) as Senior Director, PCE North America with a focus on Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing and Supply. This person will be responsible for leading and delivering our manufacturing and supply-related consulting engagements which range from strategy, supply chain, plant network strategy, productivity and innovation. You will be expected to challenge the status quo, navigate complexity and ambiguity to drive impact while working closely with senior leaders in the Pfizer Global Supply (PGS) organization along with a PCE Sr. Director. You'll leverage high learning agility and industry knowledge to drive strategic thinking while partnering with our clients, and anticipating how any idea or initiative will translate in real-world strategies and operations. And you'll be instrumental in driving an energized, fun environment where the whole team enjoys being together!


**Lead High Impact Engagements**

The Senior Director will be responsible for leading and delivering on manufacturing and supply consulting projects or complex project workstreams of varying complexity and scope. They will need to deploy management consulting skills, manufacturing and supply knowledge, strategy and innovation frameworks, change management, continuous improvement methodologies and measurements & tools to analyze issues, develop and implement strategies and solutions to complex problems within our organizations. Typical projects include leading transformation, building new capabilities, materially improving productivity, shaping and leveraging new technologies to advance how our manufacturing organization operates. To be successful, the PCE Director will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail along with written, verbal communication and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation and relationship building. The colleague will also need to develop strong relationships with senior leaders across multiple organizations to maximize impact. Project teams typically range from 2-6 people.

**Team Management and Talent Greenhouse**

The PCE Sr. Director will play a leadership role as a member of the PCE Leadership Council that provides leadership, input and direction for key internal PCE operational initiatives and needs. In addition, as a feeder of talent to the broader organization the PCE director will be active in recruiting and onboarding efforts to identify new talent to join the team. For the PCE organization, the PCE Sr. Director will develop and deliver short training modules to the PCE organization as this is a shared responsibility of all leaders within PCE. For both direct reports and project teams, the PCE Sr. Director will mentor, coach and foster the growth and development of our colleagues. The PCE Sr. Director will have 3-5 direct reports.


+ Bachelor's degree required; MS Engineering and MBA degree preferred

+ 4+ years consulting experience with a focus on biopharmaceutical manufacturing and supply strongly preferred

+ 5+ years in-house manufacturing and supply experience at a pharmaceutical/biopharma/biotech firm preferred

+ Demonstrated experience in managing projects teams, programs, or workstreams of varying levels of complexity

+ Extensive experience with aligning stakeholders, facilitating conflict, and influencing without authority

+ Strong communications skills - written, oral and active listening - with a gift for framing information in a way that enables decisions

+ Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

+ Able to interact and partner with executives with comfort and ease

+ Acts independently on self-managed projects

+ Exercises strong foresight, judgment and decision making

+ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence others in spoken and written English

+ Intermediate understanding of finance

+ A passion for developing people
