Responsible for all assigned Dealer to Dealer (D2D) sales for xtime products into the Eastern region of the United States. Directly responsible for the profitable growth of the xtime portfolio of service solutions. Interacts with the various business units within Cox Automotive (CA) and Dealer track family to maximize profitable growth for all of the business units in the CA segment.

Drives the Eastern U.S. sales team and strategy which will result in profitable growth and penetration for xtime products and services

Identifies business opportunities, develops strategies, and execute plans to drive profitable growth leveraging the xtime product portfolio

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Marketing and Product Management to develop programs, promotions and campaigns to develop and support products which meet customer needs
  • Manages the Eastern region sales team which include those in the Eastern US and possibly Canada
  • Understands dealer needs and trends and identifies and pursues opportunities that are consistent with xtime and our OEM partner strategies
  • Pursues and maintains new business opportunities through direct contact with the customer, in order to meet strategic objectives and growth opportunities
  • Delivers on time results which meet/exceed customer and xtime expectations
  • Works closely with Product Management team and other departments to identify competitors and competitively differentiate xtime products and services
  • Interfaces with legal department when necessary and issues related to contracts
Recruits Sales staff as needed

Conducts performance evaluations and handles performance related issues

Provides coaching and direction to Sales staff

Note: Position is remote and can be based anywhere in the US, East Coast preferred


  • Bachelor’s degree with a technical or business major preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience, preferably within the automotive service industry
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales quotas
  • Exceptional management skills, combined with proven effectiveness in analyzing user needs, describing product requirements and identifying new products and concepts
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts
  • Ability to lead in a matrix environment, with proven ability to handle concurrent assignments and proactively lead cross functional teams
  • High energy level with ability to deal with customers effectively and handle unstructured and unexpected situations
  • Strong verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present to large groups
  • Willingness to travel ( 2/3 of the time)
  • Ability to provide leadership to sales associates
