Senior Director - Services Monetization Strategy

 

<b>What You’ll Do</b>

 

Drive the strategy to evolve Cisco’s services and support business to align with Cisco’s shift to software-led and subscription business models, encompassing billions of dollars in revenue. You will work across the company’s product management, engineering, and support organizations to rationalize our approach to delivering support services. You will engage with sales, partners and customers to drive the strategy and value proposition of Cisco’s monetization strategy, vetting out the role of services in this value exchange. You’ll play a significant role in leading Cisco’s transformation to accelerate the pace of innovation, increase the value of the network, and deliver our technology in the way customers want to consume.

 

You Will:

 

·       Analyze Cisco’s support services portfolio and design strategies to increase the monetization of these services within Cisco’s new software-led business strategy

·       Re-define the key value propositions of Cisco services

·       Define new offers to monetize services within our subscription and SaaS-based offerings

·       Rationalize the support services portfolio across Cisco, including SmartNet Total Care (SNTC), Solution Support Services, Software Support Subscription and related services offerings

·       Partner with the Technical Services and Advanced Services product management teams to align offers to the new strategy

·       Define support requirements and policies through customer interaction, market research, quantitative sizing, competitive analysis, and by working with sales and partners

·       Develop value proposition messaging to address customer, partner, analyst, press, and employee audiences

·       Understand the financial performance of the services portfolio and monitor progress as it evolves

·       Represent Cisco at executive briefings, industry trade shows, sales meetings, advisory boards, and Cisco events by conveying our support strategy and portfolio approach; leverage these connections to advance the software business

 

<b>Who You’ll Work With</b>

 

Reporting directly into the Vice President of Digitization in the Offer Monetization Office (OMO), you will join an elite team of bright, dedicated, innovative, and results oriented individuals. OMO was established as an agile “start-up” team within Cisco to transform the way software is packaged, sold and consumed across our entire portfolio. You will drive change within one of the most respected technology companies in Silicon Valley.

 

<b>Who You Are</b>

 

You have a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, or comparable. You have your MBA with 10+ years of leadership experience in a technology company.

 

<b>Minimum Requirements</b>

 

·       Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable; MBA preferable

·       10-15 years leadership experience in high-tech environments, preferably software or networking systems

·       Direct experience defining technical support strategies within other Fortune 500 customer; desirable to have management consulting background

·       Willingness to travel up to 25%

·       Product marketing, value proposition messaging, collateral generation, customer/partner presentations

·       Quantitative analysis to guide data-driven decision making

·       High energy with a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

·       Cross-organizational collaboration with ability to influence without authority

·       Outstanding communication skills with ability to deliver concise messages
