Job Description

Main Purpose:

  • The senior DRP planner is the point of contact in the CS&L organization towards production Plants (Supply Planning), subcontractors and Customer Service regarding Stock Management;
  • The responsibility of the DRP planner is to identify, review & resolve the exceptions and maintain accuracy & update some of the DRP parameters
  • Monitor what the supply process is automatically generating: default and required pre-defined exceptions by SKU, such as plan exceptions, stock out, stock low, stock high, obsolete stock or process exceptions
  • Review the root cause of the exceptions to ensure that net requirements are calculated properly and service levels are met:
    • SKU DRP parameters issues
    • network/sourcing issues
    • shipping/arrival calendar issues
    • inventory obsolescence issues
  • Resolve the exceptions to be able to run again the process properly
  • If the exceptions cannot be resolved, it will be escalated to the category supply planner and/or line manager for immediate action
  • Maintain & update DRP parameters:
  • shipping/arrival calendars, relationships, SKU DRP parameters, network and lead times
  • Coordination with category supply planning, BU demand planning, DCs planners and logistics in Central Warehouses to ensure correct alignment among them
  • Planning Inbound and Outbound (translation demand plan to Inventory planning) deliver input for capacity planning 3PL
    • manage Co-packing activities like displays,
    • Inventory management of the co-pack orders
    • Inventory Partner Shopper Marketing (collaborative Co-operation management POS material)
  • Logistical and commercial handling of Obsoletes
  • financial and Operational Reporting regarding Inventory
  • Business Process Controller Key Controls Inventory
  • Stock reconciliations and Root Cause Analysis remediation Plan stock differences different systems and link 3PL
  • Contract Management SLA and SOP subcontractors and Plants (Matrix structure)
  • correct parametrization in systems and manage execution customer Service in ATP Available to Promise
  • Minimum run management from demand planning view decision maker to Supply planning
  • Service Level responsible for Stock Availability
  • Supply Planning Manage produce To Order to Co-manufacturers (until Sector Supply Planning takes over)
  • Analytical Tasks evaluations Inventory (link financial and operational value DII and DOH)
  • S&OP Representative Demand Planning to Plants and Co-manufacturers Matrix evaluation
  • Analyses Days on hand inventory, develops action plans to reduce to meet target and executes the action plans
  • Month End Close SPOC CS&L Belux
  • Manage initiatives to optimize on-shelf stock availability

Accountabilities:
  • Is responsible for his/her category Service Level in Benelux
  • Is responsible for the Benelux inventory levels and reduction of the stock on hand the KEY CS&L KPI
  • Is responsible for the Continuous Improvement in Inventory Management
  • Is the KEY player in the ATP process, responsible for guaranteeing stock to the customers at the moment of ordering
  • Manages the coordination of flawless execution of co-packing activities Order, stock management & correct invoicing responsibility
  • Is Accountable for execution of corporate controls for Inventory
  • External contacts: warehouse managers of Logistic service providers, Supply Planning
  • Key CS&L contact for NPDs regarding input to management for AB and supply chain set up and project execution with commercialization.
  • Advice the Demand Planning team about available product alternatives in times of capacity shortages.
  • Initiate other activities with customers that reduce logistics operating cost and/or improve store replenishment
  • backup of other planners during holiday or sickness periods
