What You'll Do 
As an Engagement Manager in Cisco Advanced Services you will work on qualified opportunities and coordinate them through the entire pre-sales process. You will aim to understand customer's requirements, and map them into portfolio of services and solutions. You will coordinate key stakeholders in pre-sales and will prepare quotes, proposals, and draft contracts (SOW).

Main responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and monitor deals from the opportunity identification to booking, serving as primary point of contact for Sales and Business Development team
  • Participates in the business development process by providing support in service positioning, contract knowledge as well as risk analysis
  • Provide process and status visibility through ongoing communications to key stakeholders
  • Drive collaboration between the key stakeholders to accelerate the pre-sales cycle
  • Assure correct use of relevant pre-sales tools and adherence to internal pre-sales procedures and processes
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Delivery and Technical SMEs to prepare quotes, proposals and contracts based on customer requirements, and needs
  • Present quotes and proposals to Sales / Business Development for customer review
  • Draft contractual documents (SOW) based on Customer approved proposal
  • Represent pre-sales team during internal reviews and approval of contractual documents

As a member of Deal Acceleration Team, you will be assisting in pre-sales activities, driving communication between Sales, Delivery, Business Development, Legal, Finance and Technical SMEs to enable faster selling.


Who You Are

Minimum requirements for this role:

-        Requires BA/BS/BE/BTech degree or equivalent around 10 years of related experience in IT industry.

-        Good understanding of Sales and Lead to Order Process; pre-sales experience.

-        Demonstrates experience in either of the following: project management, service delivery, partner engagement, business development or bid management (PMP, Prince2, ITIL or any other relevant certificate would be an asset).

-        Strong project management skills.

-        Strong business communication skills and writing skills.

-        Cross functional leadership and collaboration skills.

-        Ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities in a quickly evolving environment.

-        Sense of urgency and ownership; self-motivated to take on new challenges.

-        Ability to work in a deadline driven environment.
