Senior Engineer - DevOps

What You’ll do:

 Your focus in this role will be to lead a Continuous Integration / Delivery model for our   customers in the factory automation space.  You’ll leverage Docker container technology into our build processes and tools and guide on appropriate monitoring, logging and  tracking capabilities.

Buy, build, modify tools to help  mature operations as a part of SecDevOps process   in Technology & Quality Organization to make our stakeholders and customers succeed

Who You’ll Work with:

This is an exciting time to join the Technology & Quality Team (Supply Chain Operations)   team as we serve our customers by supporting their Automated Test Bed in Manufacturing Factory Assembly line. We embrace Agile & Secure DevOps model; with an focus on automation, monitoring and thus better supportability (a.k.a. Site Reliability Engineering Team)

You’ll be a member of a Global  Engineering Team providing services to the Global Manufacturing Centers across the world

What You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·Mandatory:

o   8+ years’ experience as a Programmer with experience in  multi-stack applications, preferably in Python. Previous experience supporting a large, complex code base for several developers

o   Strong understanding of test driven development and testing concepts to participate in unit testing, integration testing, system testing & load testing.

o   Solid understanding of source code control systems, branching, merging, releases, etc. Git

o   Experience with different database types like MySQL, Cassandra

o   Experience using Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet or Chef

o   Should have hands on experience on Webservers such as Apache/Nginx/HA-proxy.

o   Should have knowledge on writing scripts for automation using shell/Python/Perl.

o   Strong experience with Infrastructure Monitoring and Alerting tools (ELK, Sensu/Nagios, Prometheus)

o   Advanced Design/ Architecting Python based Enterprise level solutions

o   Softskills: Intense focus on customer, ability to collaborate effectively with virtual teams, outcome driven, self-starter with sense of ownership; Influencing skills

Desirable:

o   Familiarity with User Interface/ User Experience tools

o   Test Automation frameworks using Selenium

o   Open Source Tools for Performance Testing – OpenSTA, JMeter

o   Experience as Technical Lead/ Senior Engineer in a product company

o   Experience working in Agile Environment
