What You'll Do

As a seasoned manager you will be working with a highly talented and diversified engineering organization that is creating truly innovative technology in the Networking and Automation software space.

Who You'll Work with

Work with a multi-Geo team of seasoned designers and software engineers to innovate and deliver cutting edge protocols/Infrastructure features on the service provider networking platform software.

Work with customer, Product management, and engineering talent to define and execute Infrastructure strategy for the platforms.

Work with product management to define product, and feature roadmap.

·Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across software development, system quality assurance, hardware, operations and technical support.

·Manage customer escalations in your functional area. Incorporate learning from the field and internal escalations into products.

·Mentor and groom engineering talent.

Who You Are

15 - 18 years industry experience, 6 to 8 of those are in Management role and at least 3 years in managing front line managers and teams. Working Knowledge of HW, System software programming, x86, Optical/routing technologies

·Working knowledge of QoS, VLANs, 802.1x, MACAuth, MACSec, IPsec and ACL technologies.

·Understanding L2/L3 switching and routing, Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, IPV4, IPV6, sFlow

·Working knowledge of Netconf, RestAPI, Openstackis a huge plus

·Understanding of Data Center Virtualization, Software Defined Networking (SDN), NFV, security technologies

·Looking for strong leadership skills and experience in managing project team.

·Excellent analytical, problem-solving, programming and trouble shooting skills required.

·Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.

·Must be self-motivated with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously in large teams across geographies.

BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent work experience.
