As a Senior Fair Hearing Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you will be dealing positively with members and providers in sometimes challenging circumstances. As a subject matter expert, you’ll also be the “go-to” resource for information. The flexibility to work evening hours will also be required.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members within current data systems
  • Ability to support the identification, monitoring and reporting of affordability
  • Ability to successfully manage escalated calls from members, providers, and team members
  • Manage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Quickly resolve inquiries from members, providers, and clinical leadership
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills in data analysis
  • Demonstrate strong excel skills and ability to gather and support data analysis, report writing and state reporting processes
  • Ability to work and develop relationships across all divisions of UHC
Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree (or higher) or High School Diploma / GED and 4+ years of experience in Health and Human service field
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer challenges
  • Must be able to work Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with possible overtime and evening hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with medical terminology
  • Experience working with health care insurance
  • Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
  • Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of HCBS coding / modifiers
