Job Description

As a Finance Senior Analyst at PepsiCo, you will be a key Finance contact responsible for providing the financial expertise and recommendations that enable effective decision-making within the business. The Financial Senior Analyst will be a key finance contact for the Global R&D Finance team directly supporting the Sr. Director Finance. The Finance Senior Analyst will provide overall reporting and analytical support for the Global R&D team and act as primary point of contact for Corp FP&A, Legal and Tax departments within Corporate. The position ideally will be located in Purchase, NY.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage consolidated reporting and financial analysis for Global R&D incorporating input from multiple Sectors, data sources and teams
  • Partner with R&D Finance counterparts across all Sectors to provide visibility to Global R&D costs including both G&A and capital
  • Oversee total R&D capital budget of ~$60MM including building and aligning AOP, tracking and forecasting actual spend quarterly, approving and providing support in the development of Global R&D CARs, aligning with Control team on necessary processes and approvals, serving as subject matter expert on capital requests for the Global R&D team
  • Manage and track Global R&D Productivity programs including quarterly submissions to Transformation & Sector teams
  • Key interface with Corp FP&A for all Global R&D reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Key interface with Legal and Tax departments on all Global R&D reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Project work and ad hoc reporting as necessary to support the Sr. Finance Director Global R&D

Qualifications/Requirements

Education/Certification:

  • Bachelors Degree Required (Finance or Business Administration preferred)

Work Experience:
  • 4 - 5 years of finance analyst experience

Skills & Capabilities:
  • Advanced modeling skills (Excel) with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Experience with Annual Planning, Forecasting & Budgeting preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
  • Ability to function well in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills to manage information gathering requests
  • Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Aptitude to work with minimal supervision
  • Minimal travel required
