Senior Forecasting Business Analyst - Eden Prairie, MN (739481)

Position Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead Inventory and FTE planning including tracking of actual results and development of forecasted data to plan for appropriate staffing levels

  • Work hand in hand with upstream and side stream partners to gather necessary inputs to ensure models provide accurate data

  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly FTE reporting and conduct variance analysis

  • Develop weekly / monthly reports based on customer submitted requests

  • Prioritize requests and balance daily workload

  • Create complex tracking / forecasting models and conduct ad hoc analysis

  • Interface with senior business leaders regarding capacity / inventory trends

  • Assist in leading remediation efforts when staff capacity issues arise

  • Prepare and present business case justifications

  • Propose process improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field OR equivalent work experience

  • 4 years of Business Operations or Financial Operations Experience

  • Background and experience in Workforce Management, Capacity Planning, or Operations Management

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills - comfortable communicating in a variety of formats to Senior Level Executives

  • Demonstrated process improvement, workflow, benchmarking and/or evaluation of business processes

  • Excellent problem solving skills, ability to succeed in self-directed environment

  • Ability to problem solve when presented with challenges

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of process re-engineering and change management

  • 1+ years of experience in project management or Six Sigma

  • 1+ years of capacity planning or staff modeling
