As the Senior Health Care Economics Consultant, you will perform critical research and investigation of key business problems. Using phenomenal analytical skills, you will develop and improve quantitative data analytics and set performance targets for the enterprise. As a subject matter expert, you will interpret and analyze clinical data from various sources and recommend best approaches for its consolidation. This position is responsible for consulting with external customers / partners, health care analytics, data sourcing / reconciliation / management, process automation, metric calculation logic, and report development.  The subject areas of finance, medical management, to technology will be covered with opportunities to serve as both an individual contributor and project manager. 


Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Develops full understanding of clinical programs being measured  

  • Identifies and implements appropriate analytic / technology approaches and methodologies and sets performance targets

  • Performs statistical analyses to determine effectiveness of clinical programs (e.g. pre-post analysis, clinical trial results)

  • Participates in the development of business strategy when necessary

  • Communicate results to relevant audiences and customers

  • Manages projects to completion by contributing to database creation, ETL processes, statistical modeling and performance reports

  • Extracts, aggregates and reconciles applicable data from multiple sources and tables for purposes of root cause analysis

  • Performs data management, operational, and deployment activities

  • Demonstrates United Cultural Values in all aspects of work
