The senior healthcare analyst is responsible to use healthcare knowledge and analytic skills to improve the state of the art and increase analytic intellectual property.  The senior healthcare analyst/statistician will work within Dovetail’s analytics team and report to director of analytics.  This is a business critical role that demands a highly motivated, self-directed, and collegial professional.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Utilize statistical knowledge, programming techniques, and workflow management skills in data management, data analysis and outcome reporting
  • Collaborate with partners and colleagues on decisions involving data collection methods and the application of appropriate statistical methods for an analysis
  • Proactively and reactively create data specifications, data sets, data dictionaries, verifications of data, FAQs, job aids and training materials
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for improvement of Dovetail’s operations and clinical interventions
  • Design, develop and define statistical models to improve Dovetail population risk stratification process                        
  • Design, develop, interpret and present post-intervention outcomes reports for client and internal use
  • Participate as a vital member of an innovative and business focused analytic team
