Job Details

The Drug & Drug Delivery Specialist will have the overall responsibility of executing the strategy and



attaining the goals of the Pfizer Injectable Business. The DDS is responsible for achieving



territory sales objectives for all Pfizer Injectables Sterile Injectables products and Drug Delivery



Systems that fall within the multi-Source generic, specialty injectable pharmaceutical (SIP)



portfolio including some branded generics. Primary points of call are hospital pharmacies and



nursing departments and the DDS will focus on building, sustaining and nurturing strong



customer relationships, focusing most effort on the key buying influences, including but not



limited to pharmacy and nursing. The territory sales goals will be achieved by selling group



purchasing organizations (GPO) and individual contract utilization, promoting new product



launches, sustaining and growing a large base of business, and demonstrating value-added



services to customers.



Candidate must reside in the territory: - Local Candidates Only. (Territory covers Eastern Washington, Idaho and Montana. Rep can live in Boise, ID or Spokane, WA.)



Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, science, or other related discipline required.



3-5 years successful pharmaceutical sales experience to hospital accounts.



A demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previous pharmaceutical



sales, preferably in the generic market.



An understanding of pharmaceutical contracts, chargebacks, and related systems.



An understanding of the distribution channels for generic injectable products.



Knowledge of the generic injectable industry, competitors, and classes of trade.



Demonstrated successful negotiation skills with the end results of achieving sales goals as set



forth by management.



Demonstrated ability to operate with self-motivation and drive to achieve goals.



Solid interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated trustworthiness, courtesy,



cooperation, and flexibility in working, interacting, and communicating with diverse individuals



and groups.



The ability to develop and maintain effective and trusting work and customer relationships.



The position requires a highly energetic, persuasive and tenacious professional who is



proactive, professionally and persistent.



Work in a collaborative manner with district member peers, Pfizer Injectables sales



counterparts, National accounts and HSAEs, cross-functional team members, and all other



departments within Pfizer Injectables that provide support and/or assistance to field sales (i.e.



marketing, contract marketing, sales services, inventory, etc.).



Be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.



The individual will hold demonstrated ability to work in a large, complex, global environment



and collaborate with a cross-functional team, suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive results.



Above all, the individual will have unquestionable personal and business ethics.
