Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
  • Support short and long term operational / strategic business activities through analysis
  • Develop recommended business solutions through research and analysis of data and business process and implement when appropriate
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of data used in HEDIS reporting
  • SME for the monthly HEDIS production cycle for assigned Health Plans
  • SME utilizing the HEDIS software for the management of HEDIS and State data submissions
  • Ensure HEDIS data accuracy by following department and auditor guidelines
  • Utilize HEDIS software and other department tools to perform data analysis
  • Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
  • Work with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serve as a resource to others
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma / GED with 2+ years of equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of recent SQL experience creating medium to complex SQL queries
  • 2+ years of recent experience performing research and data analysis (preferably health care regulatory reporting)
  • 2+ years of experience trouble-shooting, conducting quality analysis on, and formatting data files
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio)
  • Experience with ClaimSphere or MedMeasures Suite of Tools, or experience with HEDIS reporting using other tools
  • Experience in a managed care environment
  • Ability to write clearly composed documentation for business requirements documentation as well as information that will be distributed to auditors
  • Functional SME for HEDIS reporting
  • Project management experience
  • Experience using MS Access
  • Experience with SSIS packages
