What You'll Do

In this Senior IT Auditor role you will:

• Perform both IT specific and integrated audits and assist/lead other Governance Risk and Controls (GRC) projects.

• Perform information security assessments including technical and business process aspects.

• Assist in developing processes, tools, and techniques to enhance the performance of technical network security audits.

The Governance, Risk, and Controls (GRC)'s mission is to assist the Audit Committee and Management in carrying out their fiduciary responsibilities of maintaining an effective and efficient system of internal controls. GRC provides invaluable experience, exposure, and education in developing Cisco's current and future leaders.


Who You Are

You are someone with strong information security or IT system administration experience that is interested in technology audit. Someone with strong IT audit experience focused on information security and technology would also be a desired candidate.


Although we are looking for someone with strong technical skills, the position requires the ability to perform non-technical IT and business process focused audits. The ability to clearly document risks, description of tests performed and associated conclusions is a key requirement of the job.


Our minimum requirements for this role:

• BS degree (or equivalent) and minimum of 5 years of IT, Information Security or Technology Audit-related experience; including

• Strong knowledge and experience in information security related practices, techniques, and tools.

• Security or system administration related experience in multiple networks and host platforms, monitoring and analysis, as well as vulnerability and architectural assessments. Application security design or vulnerability assessment experience is a plus.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Information security, systems administration or IT auditing.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical experts and senior level management. Able to articulate technical issues in terms of business risk.

• Delivery focused, willingness to perform all tasks required to complete the job, including administrative and documentation oriented tasks.

• Organization and management experience a plus.

• CISSP, CISA, CISM or similar certification a plus.
