Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior IT Quality Consultant for our Eden Prairie, Minnesota location to provide technical and functional leadership to the team to achieve project goals on schedule with high quality. Works as an individual contributor on all the phases of test life cycle. Liaises with the offshore team and coordinates work completion and allocation. Coordinates with Development and System Analyst team to understand and deliver the quality code in time and resources. Adheres to a strict timeline and uphold the quality of the product. Uses Scrum/Kanban/ATDD methodology and works within an Agile and DevOps model. Involved in “War Rooms” for defect triage, and responsible for data management. Performs manual and automation testing using tools such as QTP, SPOCK, GEB, JAVA, and Selenium. Leads test automation effort for the product and write Unit, Component, Integration, and E2E tests via Automation framework. Tests the application API/WebService, GUI, and DB – both manual and automation; provides solution consultancy in case of new complex problems; works with various external teams to build, maintain, and strengthen relationship with stakeholders; and defect management. Provides production and UAT support; defines Testing Strategy and estimation for testing efforts and validate scope and assess risk; conducts and participates in reviews and walkthroughs; and participates in production deployment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8 years related, progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.
  • Must also have demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1. Four years of experience performing manual and automation testing using QTP, SPOCK, GEB, JAVA, and Selenium; 2. Four years of experience leading test automation effort for products and writing Unit, Component, Integration, and E2E tests via Automation framework; 3. Six years of experience developing applications for the health care domain; and 4. One year of experience using Scrum/Kanban/ATDD methodology and working within an Agile and DevOps model.
