Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior IT Quality Consultant for our Eden Prairie, MN location to provide technical and functional leadership to the team to achieve project goals meeting quality and timeline deadlines for projects in the healthcare industry. Lead and collaborate on all the phase of test life cycle. Collaborate with the Company’s offshore team and co-ordinate work completion and work allocation. Co-ordinate with DEV and SA to understand and deliver the quality code in time and involve the necessary resources. Ensure completion of projects within strict timeline and adhere to quality. Utilize knowledge and experience on Scrum/Kanban/ATDD methodology and work on Agile and DevOps model. Utilize knowledge and understanding of complex Claims workflow and collaborate on testing the same. Perform manual and automation testing utilizing QTP, SPOCK, GEB, JAVA, Selenium and Gatling. Lead the test automation effort for the product, maintenance and streamlining of Automation framework, writing Unit, Component, Integration, and E2E tests via Automation framework. Test applications, both manually and through automation, including API/WebService, (SOAP and REST)/MicroServices, GUI and DB. During these tests, provide solution consultancy in case new complex problem arise. Collaborate with various external teams to build, maintain, and strengthen relationship with stakeholders. Lead in defect management, production and UAT support, and in defining testing strategy, estimating for testing efforts, validating scope, and assessing risk. Conduct and actively participate in reviews, walkthroughs, and production deployment. Gain knowledge in new technologies and implement them on the project. Utilize his knowledge and understanding of the Dev Code and actively participate in war rooms for defect triage. Responsible for extensive data management. Utilize Cloud, Docker, Jenkins, RabbitMQ, Spock, Splunk, Dynatrace, No-SQL and BigData.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
  • Must also have 12 months demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Testing API/WebService (SOAP and REST)/MicroServices, GUI, and DB. 2) Leading test automation effort for the product, maintenance and streamlining of Automation framework, writing Unit, Component, Integration, and E2E tests via Automation framework. 3) Performing manual and Automation testing using tools including QTP, SPOCK, GEB, JAVA, Selenium and Gatling. 4) Using Scrum/Kanban/ATDD methodology and working within an Agile and DevOps model. 5) Utilizing Cloud, Docker, Jenkins, RabbitMQ, Spock, Splunk, Dynatrace, No-SQL and BigData. 6) Health Care Domain Knowledge.. Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.
