The Pfizer Consulting & Execution (PCE) Asia Senior Manager will be responsible for delivering and leading operational management consulting projects of varying complexity and scope across Pfizer's business units and divisions in Asia. The main focus of work will be projects in Asia or the Asia components of global projects. Depending on the project the colleague will provide project and program management, leadership to project teams and thought partnership with Pfizer leadership. The PCE Asia Senior Manager will drive projects forward that directly impact Pfizer's ability to grow and drive more positively impact health everywhere.

The PCE Asia Senior Manager uses management consulting skills, business knowledge, processes skills, change management and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements and tools to analyze issues, drive alignment and achieve operational improvement solutions for the business units. Typical projects include transformations such as restructuring components of the business, developing and implementing new operating models and governance, improving business processes, building new capabilities, etc. Projects may be global or regional or Japan in nature and often involve multiple divisions and/or Business Units (BUs). The PCE Asia Senior Manager provides project and program management leadership and is a critical partner with the project lead and sponsor of any project

The PCE Asia Senior Manager provides project and program management support and manages day-to-day execution of the project from planning through completion of the implementation. The typical activities of a PCE Asia Senior Manager include developing a project plan, conducting interviews, facilitating workshops, collecting and analyzing data, developing solutions, and daily management of varied projects. The PCE Asia Senior Manager may also lead PCE internal initiatives.

The PCE Asia Senior Manager will need to be highly proactive, work collaboratively with other groups, have strong attention to detail, along with written, verbal and listening skills, presentation skills, teaming, facilitation, mental agility and relationship building skills. The PCE Asia Senior Manager will need to have an understanding of the business and be able to quickly learn the content while exceling in process and project management.

The PCE Asia Senior Manager will most often lead a team composed of both PCE and BU colleagues, sometimes supplemented by external contingent staff, all collaborating to deliver on projects per the established timelines. The PCE Asia Senior Manager also needs to cultivate and maintain relationships across internal stakeholders within the business units and other divisions to drive business critical solutions.


+ Bachelor's degree required; MA/MS/MBA degree or other advanced degree preferred

+ 5+ years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical firm

+ 5+ years management consulting experience (internally or with a management consulting firm)

+ Demonstrated experience in managing projects teams, programs, or work-streams of varying levels of complexity

+ Demonstrated strength in business analysis

+ Demonstrated experience of aligning stakeholders and facilitating conflict

+ Commercial experience (sales, marketing, commercial operations, etc.) preferred

**Technical Skills Requirements:**

+ Experience with operations management consulting methodologies and frameworks

+ Experience with change management methodologies, organizational design, and business process re-engineering

+ Strong oral and written English and Japanese communications capabilities

+ Strong presentation and facilitation skills

+ Strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities

+ Strong business sense and service-delivery mindset

+ Basic understanding of finance

+ Fluent with technology solutions to manage projects including Microsoft Office programs (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) and also SharePoint.
