Its all part of our unwavering commitment to creating opportunities and bringing value to customers and communities around the world.Job Title:Senior Manager, Corporate Development/Mergers & AcquisitionsEmployment Type:Full TimeCity:BENTONVILLEState:ARPosition Description:The Walmart Corporate Development/Mergers and Acquisitions team is responsible for managing acquisitions, strategic investments, divestitures, joint-ventures and other equity-related transactions across all of Walmarts geographies and retail businesses including Walmart eCommerce, Walmart US, Sams Club and Walmart International.



Essential Job Duties:





+ Supports the development of Walmarts mergers and acquisitions priorities in accordance with the companys enterprise strategy

+ Conducts due diligence activities related to domestic and international mergers and acquisitions

+ Develops complex financial models to drive the mergers and acquisitions decision-making process

+ Determines optimal transaction structure and contract negotiation strategy for small to mid-size mergers and acquisitions

+ Cultivates an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics

+ Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Minimum Qualifications:



+ 1 year of supervisory experience OR 1 year experience leading cross-functional projects.

+ Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years experience in finance or related field OR 5 years experience in finance or related field.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:



+ Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

+ 5 years of work experience in Corporate Development/M&A, with at least 2 years in investment banking.

+ 2 years of supervisory experience.

+ Experience in financial analysis (including forecasting and financial modeling) and working within cross-functional project teams.

+ M&A transactional experience in eCommerce, retail, consumer goods, or related industry.
