**Role Description:**

The Vendor Management Program Office (VMPO), part of the StratCO Commercial Operations Knowledge & Operations Center of Excellence, enhances BU productivity by ensuring maximum benefit is derived from new/ongoing vendor engagements and driving informed vendor management strategies for GCO across a highly critical, substantial, and diverse collection of global vendors. The Senior Manager will work with other VMPO and Commercial Operations colleagues, as well as Global Procurement, Finance, BT, and other key partners in support of the CO/BA Service Excellence Platform to drive 1) the negotiation and execution of vendor performance standards (Service Excellence Agreements) globally, 2) regular tracking, knowledge management, and reporting of performance against established standards and 3) accountability with key partners around the globe. Ultimately, the selected candidate will be a key member of the team and contribute to driving efforts that maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of cross-functional, global vendor services delivered to commercial stakeholders in support of key business imperatives.


+ Assuming sole responsibility for managing the Service Excellence Platform across Pfizer's global Vendor landscape

+ Maintaining existing Service Excellence Agreements (SEAs) and ensuring that these align with key business global strategies

+ Implementing new vendor SEAs for relevant vendor engagements as of yet not on the Service Excellence Platform

+ Facilitate and support complex vendor governance and/or performance management situations as dictated

+ Build vendor management capability within and contribute to operational excellence and vendor knowledge management goals via execution

+ Developing and implementing regular, on-going analytics and reporting of vendor and partner SEA performance for senior management

+ Maximizing the value of the SEA system capabilities' infrastructure, by introducing it to key vendors and building a base of knowledge to inform partner engagement decisions

+ Contributing to the design and deploying an e-learning tool/process for colleagues to enable the seamless transition to/maintenance of the SEA platform

+ Supporting other critical requirements including vendor management training, vendor leadership/project management/coaching, and other key priorities

+ Effectively engage, build relationships, and partner across all stakeholders including but not limited to StratCO, BU Partners, Global Procurement, BT, and Finance


+ Undergraduate degree required (MBA or other related graduate degree preferred)

+ Significant experience leading and managing the performance of vendors and others

+ Strong knowledge of Pfizer's commercial business and services provided by the GCO organization

+ Excellent relationship, consulting, & influence management capabilities

+ Effective strategic partnering skills

+ Strong analytical ability

+ Familiarity with,capabilities in manipulating standard analytical tools & data visualization tools/techniques

+ Knowledge of Pfizer's financial systems

+ Comfort with web-based decision tools

+ Strong communication and presentation skills

+ Experience in managing multi-functional projects

**Prior Experience Preferred:**

Minimum range of years experience: 5-7 Years

**Most critical technical competencies or capabilities:**

+ Solid analytical skills, including strategic thinking, problem solving/structuring, organization, prioritization

+ Strong communication skills, including presentations, PowerPoint/written, meeting facilitation, and one-on-one/small group;

+ Leadership skills and ability to take initiative

+ Ability to work on and/or lead multiple projects and prioritize effectively; being able to work without requiring significant oversight

+ Ability to identify business issues/opportunities and to frame business questions

+ Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and broader trends in healthcare environment; Strong understanding of pharmaceutical marketing and/or commercial operations, business technology is a plus
