Job Details

The Senior Manager, Oncology Training, is responsible Initial and Ongoing Brand, Role and Skills training and asset development for US Oncology Customer Facing Colleagues.







Role Responsibilities:







+ Leading the design, development, and delivery of regional training programs in alignment with local business strategies



+ Managing all learning and classroom assets- print, eLearning, leader-led POA workshops, class presentations, pre-launch and launch training workshops, as well as sustainability training programs throughout the life cycle of the brands



+ Directing the design, implementation, and continual updates of ONC Training Curriculum to include planning, logistics management, participant conduct, content development, and budgeting



+ Presenting interactive training (both virtual and Face to Face) on product and disease states, competition, market landscape, selling skills, selling strategies and technical knowledge.



+ Coaching/mentoring, leading, and motivating sales colleagues as their primary coach throughout their training.



+ Mentoring Field Faculty in developing their training capabilities



+ Ensuring continuous approval of all Regional learning assets with Review Committee and Reg O8 compliance



+ Create strong relationships with BU Partners including Leadership, Marketing, Medical, Sales, Regulatory and Legal ) to aggressively prioritize needs and manage demand







+ Partnering effectively with Global Training Center of excellence (COE) to make decisions on appropriate Regional content for implementation aligning with Regional brand strategies



+ Partner with local and regional SMEs to ensure timely, effective and relevant training content is delivered



+ Localizing Global COE training assets to meet the needs of the US business



+ Ability to leverage learning technology and independently run training courses using GCO Training systems (Abobe, WebEx, Pedagogue, P2L etc....)



+ Manage the certification process for all trained customer facing colleagues via testing and administration of Sales Call Evaluations (SCE)s



+ A commitment to learn and master new disease states and treatments for both the current and future product portfolio



+ Project, Vendor, and Budget Management







Qualifications:







+ Bachelor's degree required



+ Oncology experience strongly preferred



+ 3+ years of training/sales or related experience preferred



+ Strong track record of success as a sales representative, trainer or marketer



+ Outstanding selling, presentation, facilitation and writing skills



+ Sound judgment and decision making



+ Demonstrated creativity, leadership, and teamwork abilities



+ Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects



+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills with track record of working collaboratively across functions



+ Ability to effectively interact with and manage stakeholder at varying levels



+ Local understanding of the Pharmaceutical industry and the ability to translate business needs into training strategy



+ Strong project Management Skills



+ Ability to make sound decisions with minimal direction



+ Seizes Accountability



+ Familiarity with Pfizer systems and the use of technology in training
