Description This role will develop and champion the value communication platform for the Hospira US Biosimilar portfolio. Based in Lake Forest, IL, this individual will report to the Director of Value Marketing (US Biosimilar).This role is part of Pfizer Essential Health (PEH) business unit and is committed to advancing science and developing innovative biologics/biosimilars to meet significant unmet medical needs. Biosimilars provide the potential to offer a broader range of treatment options. As potential alternatives to originator biologics, biosimilars may improve access and provide cost savings to health care. The Senior Manager, Payer Marketing will develop and champion the value communication platform for the US Biosimilar (infused biologics) portfolio. By understanding how customers think about cost, s/he will create an economic marketing value proposition by analyzing product cost, clinical profile, per member/per month cost impact, disease profile, provider preference, patient advocacy input, payer contracting, etc.



Based in north suburban Chicago/Lake Forest, IL, this individual will report to the Director of Value Marketing (US Biosimilar). Eligible for relocation.



**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

►Lead development of the US customer facing value proposition for US biosimilars and develop value based campaigns and initiatives based on that value proposition



►Develop payer and hospital system value based promotional resources and initiatives to drive uptake of Pfizer US Biosimilar portfolio



►Develop training materials and roll out those resources to the field force



►Champion the value campaign to the US brand team, field force, and other internal stakeholders including leading value/market access input into US brand plans



►Monitor and report to senior team leadership on competitive value initiatives and messages and recommend responses



►Manage agency and internal partners on resource development within budget and on timeline



►Lead value resource approval process with legal and regulatory partners



►Establish relationships with field organization and external leaders to identify healthcare industry trends and insights to inform prioritization of resources; translate customer learnings into actionable recommendations for business growth



►Interface with US Biosimilars senior leadership, US PEH Senior leadership, US Payer field team and senior leadership, Payer customers, Pfizer PCA leadership, Payer analytics, Internal promotional materials approvals team (including legal, regulatory, and medical representation), US biosimilar brand team, US Field force leadership, Corporate Communications, Global health and value;, Government pricing



**QUALIFICATIONS**

►Bachelor's degree in business, economics or other highly analytical discipline required; MBA Preferred



►5+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience - biologics required



► Buy and bill brand or payer facing marketing experience is required; Oncology marketing and or Value marketing experience are preferred



►Candidate must have demonstrated ability to translate commercial strategy into customer facing communication resources.



►Experience with US promotional regulatory and legal approval processes required



►Track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization



►Strong written and oral presentation skills



►Additional competencies include market analytics, Biosimilar Area Knowledge, and Customer / Competitive insights a plus.



►Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently is required



►25% travel expected
