Job Details

The Senior Marketing Manager owns WELLNESS brands from strategy to execution in all the markets in the Middle East. Uses customer insights to develop brand strategy, promotional messages and programs to maximize portfolio value across the main customer groups to drive growth and ensure the realization of revenue and profitability targets in the Region

**Key Accountabilities:**


+ Provide local insights and brand feedback from each market.

+ In line with global brand strategy, he/she tailors brand and execute brand strategies to local market needs, and define local priorities for a brand.

+ Designs, implement annual marketing plans including strategy definition, sales forecast for each product, expenses allocation between products, required sales promotion programs, pricing strategies, distribution channel strategies and marketing material needed to accomplish the goals. He/she will base the implementation of annual marketing plans on insights and feedback from sales, marketing insight intelligence and global brand strategy.

+ Create content for Direct to Consumer communication (Digital campaigns, TV, Print, etc.)

+ Develop content for HCP communication (Digital campaigns, Leave Behinds, Detail Aids, etc.) to Sales Managers.

+ Forecast revenue and Opex of assigned brands

+ Allocate and execute in country brand budget

+ Cross-functional brand leadership - across Field Force, Account management, medical, legal, regulatory, Health and value, supply etc.

+ P&L accountability per market per product (COGS management, A&P allocation, etc.)

+ Definition of Segmentation / Targeting

+ Work closely with the four senior sales managers to ensure proper execution of brand plans

+ Work with demand planning & Supply to ensure proper supply to individual markets

+ Train Field Force on product positioning and prioritization

+ Partner with Medical to educate KOLs on emergent medical research and differentiated product attributes

+ Assesses product pricing.

+ Provides support to Regulatory to interact with Government roles.

+ Provides in field support to Sales Managers to achieve their targets. Be present in each priority market at least once per month.

+ Accountable for the follow up of product / category KPIs (EI, MS, availability, Brand Awareness, etc.), elaborate quarterly category performance reports, identify gaps and implement corrective initiatives.

+ Continuous follow up on competitors performance, activities, promotion, price , etc.

+ Execute new product launches campaigns

+ Spend 50% of the time in the field, working with Trade Marketing Managers and Sales team to interact with key customers (distributors, key pharmacy chains, independent pharmacies, HCP's) to get insights and define the best strategies and initiatives that fit key stakeholders needs and ensure category growth.

+ Organizes and executes customer engagement events

+ Interaction with Opinion leaders and Key Stakeholders in the business (Distributors, Key Account Managers, etc.) to build relationship. **Accountable**

+ Interaction with key Stakeholders (Distributors, Key chain pharmacies, KOL, public sector managers, payers, etc.)

+ Give support to Sales Managers and Trade Marketing to achieve in market objectives

Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs, Pfizer Value, & regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environmental guidelines, as appropriate, etc.


+ Minimum of 7 years marketing/trade marketing experience

+ Bachelor's Degree; Master degree or MBA desired

+ knowledge and experience of Consumer Goods Industry/OTC/Pharmaceutical Industry

+ Gulf & Levant Market knowledge is a Plus

+ Proven track record as a key achiever including strong experience in execution and implementation of marketing strategies.
