Medical Information Associate/Senior Medical Information Associate



(Secondment)







The primary responsibility of the Medical Information Associate (MIA) is to provide timely and accurate responses to internal and external medical enquires for Pfizer products and to ensure the company's products are used and promoted to achieve profit objectives within ethical business practices.







The MIA may be required to review promotional material, represent the Medical Information (MI) group on Medical Marketing Teams and provide training where necessary and appropriate for Pfizer Sales Representatives. At times the MIA can be called upon as a resource for other departments with the company.







The degree of responsibility accorded to a MIA reflects their level of experience and the level of contribution that they can make to a project. The MIA assists the Medical Information Manager and may be assigned specific projects to enhance and advance the operation of Medical Information (MI).







The MIA ensures that they conduct their work within set timeframes and budget and in accordance with Pfizer standards and local and international regulatory requirements.







In order for you to be successful in this role you will have some (or most) of the following:







+ Bachelor of Pharmacy or Biomedical Science - Essential



+ Postgraduate qualifications and/or registration as a Pharmacist - Essential



+ Completion of the MA CEP Module of the Code of Conduct



+ A minimum of two years industry experience as a registered Pharmacist in clinical practice - Essential



+ A high regards for the delivery of excellence in customer service



+ Strong business acumen



+ Proven strong stakeholder management experience



+ Ability, with supervision, to solve routine problems and to surface issues constructively



+ Ability to make basic decisions with an understanding of the consequences



+ Ability to work under supervision in a matrix organization



+ Excellent communication, influencing and conflict management skills
