What You’ll Do

Role & Responsibilities:

With a seasoned mix of broad networking knowledge and specific area expertise, as well as excellent Customer relationship skills, you will:

• Design and implement complex solutions for Cisco’s valued customers.

• Plan and document highly complex Upgrade and Migration activities across multiple Cisco technologies.

• Manage and optimize existing customer Environments.

• Provide critical recommendations to help our customers retain their competitive edge.

• Build simulated networks in test labs to proof exciting new solutions.

• Work in larger virtual teams spanning functions, regions and departments.

• Contribute to the future growth and success of the Global Delivery Center.

Who You’ll work With

Cisco Advanced Services is part of the Cisco Services organization. We are the advocates for Cisco customers. It is our mission to accelerate customer success by helping customers optimize their network investment and speed adoption and migration of advanced technologies.

The Cloud and Network Services (CNS) organization consists of Cloud, Datacenter and Route/Switch specializations. As the largest team of Network Consultants in the Global Delivery Center in Krakow, the CNS team is responsible for the execution and delivery of project and optimisation solutions focused primarily on the EMEAR region. The NCE delivers the technologies, solutions and services customers need to expertly manage their networks. In this role, you will be "Cisco's face to the customer," working in a fast-paced, high-impact environment as a visible contributor delivering on our commitments. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, comfortable with challenging the status quo and rapidly responding to escalated issues

Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:

- Typically requires university degree equivalent plus 5 -6 year of experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.
- CCNP in R&S, SP, Datacenter or Cloud as a minimum.

Desired Skills:

You may have a mix of the following areas:

- Experience in designing, deploying & supporting Cisco Solutions.

- Operation and configuration of Cisco’s Datacenter and network devices (e.g. Nexus, Catalyst routers, switches, Load Balancers, Storage Networks, Application Optimizers, UCS Server technologies, and VMWare Virtualization).

- Good knowledge of switching, routing protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).

- Good knowledge in MPLS and QoS.

- Good Knowledge of Cisco ASR or CRS platforms.

- CCIE in R&S, SP, Datacenter or Cloud desired.

- Knowledge of vertical markets and understanding customer challenges.

- Able to demonstrate experience working with large complex projects and strategic account teams.
- Work experience with European customers being onsite in Europe a definite plus.

- Knowledge of 2nd language desired (German, French, Spanish or Italian).
