Description Senior Network Design Engineer will be part of single client support team, which will include service delivery and service assurance.



Responsible for developing network designs and builds supporting large, complex corporate or public sector data networks for a large service integrator and end customers. Applies the necessary tools and engineering principles to create, design, and implement the network infrastructure in accordance with approved guidelines.



**Roles and Responsibilities:**

Responsibilities will include work in one or more of several network disciplines (LAN, WAN, WLAN, Firewall, Voice, & DDI, They will be required to translate high complexity customer requirements into a configurable design/solution that will support the requested services. Will also provide technical guidance to junior members of the technical staff in the design of low to medium complexity designs. Will coordinates and interface with internal and external customers to ensure service commitments are met. Uses engineering tools, various software applications, and databases to assist in creating the engineering documents. Prepares / oversees cost/benefit estimates, presentations, negotiations, installation, and problem resolution in virtualized and non-virtualized environments. Provide project management and documentation as required and provide SME support to operations for critical network impacting events.

• Conducts end to end project management of multiple large projects and may also manage sub components of a large program.

• Leads cross functional teams to complete projects or program deliverables within allotted timeline and budget.

• Identifies key internal/external stakeholders necessary for project completion and develops overall strategy for executive of high value projects.

• Defines project scope and objectives, guides activities of a project/program team including delegating tasks to team members, identifies resources, and establishes master timeline for deliverables.

• Projects/programs are very complex in nature, rarely follow a repeatable framework, typically span multiple business units or are company-wide, and require a high level of analysis to create project/program plans for new concept projects/programs.

• Work with external vendors and internal stakeholders to champion project(s) across the entire organization.

• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.

• Conducts project/program meetings and is responsible for project/program tracking and analysis.

• Ensure adherences to quality standards and reviews project/program deliverables.

• Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.

• Provides technical and analytical guidance to project team.

• Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of major problems.

• Communicates to client/vendors/leadership.

· LAN switching (Cisco, Brocade, Arista, etc…)

· Routing for Internet and MPLS networks that support server farms, with focus on BGP and Juniper

· Firewall engineering covering Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Juniper, Fortinet, and/or ASA

· Bluecoat proxy

· F5 Load balancers

· Cisco switching environments for server farms

**Education and Qualifications:**

University degree in Math, Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent related network experience. Experience: Typically at least 3-5 years of successful network engineering or related experience.

ocation: Bratislava, Aupark or Kosice.

Working hours: EMEA with on call duty, which is paid additionally.
