Job Details

**Duties:** S/he leads projects executed by multiple functions including planning and scheduling all activities to achieve the desired results. S/he develops and manages project scopes for contractors and consultants in the support of project and process implementation. S/he participates in the development of project schedules and coordinate applicable work to meet the deadlines in the Plant Capital Plan, New Product Introductions, and New Process Technology Developments. S/he ensures all project documentation is generated per the schedule, executed on time and that it is complete and accurate. S/he leads the development of new processes or optimize existing ones. S/he oversees the development of product recipes. S/he creates visual inspection systems application reports.







S/he acts as the SME for opto-electronics such as light sources, sensors, cameras, and image processing. S/he is responsible for opto-electronics equipment engineering support, including leading the root cause analysis when there is a failure and developing the proposal for corrective actions and the development of new process technologies. S/he troubleshoots production related visual inspection equipment issues including image processing and optoelectronic equipment such as light sources, sensors, cameras, and image processing. S/he organizes, oversees and analyzes testing associated with the development of new process technologies and the support of new product introductions and tech transfers. S/he works closely with Corporate R&D and technical services to develop and confirm Critical and Key Process Parameters needed for Equipment and Process Validation. S/he plans, drafts, and executes engineering studies on opto-electronics based visual inspection machines including Nikka Densok, Wilco, Eisai and Dabrico. S/he works in conjunction with Project Engineering to implement visual inspection equipment on production lines. S/he leads FAT (factory acceptance testing) and ensure protocol execution is per plan. S/he supports installation, operational, and performance qualification activities. S/he responsible for executing engineering projects under the guidance of Principle Engineer or Director of Engineering and Maintenance.







**Educational Requirement:** Master's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.







**Experience Requirement:** 2 years of work experience in opto-electronics based vision system manufacturing and visual inspection.







**Alternate Education/Experience Requirements:** In the alternative, we will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive work experience in opto-electronics based vision system manufacturing and visual inspection. Any suitable combination of education, experience or training is acceptable.







**Professional Experience in the following** : 1) Opto-electronics based visual inspection machines; 2) Creating visual inspection systems application reports; 3) Opto-electronics including light sources, sensors, cameras, and image processing.
