Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Growth Team

About the Growth Team for Cisco’s Collaboration Technology Group

All significant human progress is achieved by groups of people working together. Cisco’s Collaboration Technology Group is focused exclusively on building solutions that enable teams to work better together. In so doing, we are both improving people’s experience of work and helping to advance human progress.

WebEx, the market leading video conferencing software, powers more meetings than all competitors combined. Cisco Spark, our next generation collaboration platform, combines messaging, calling, video and artificial intelligence to help teams move work forward faster and easier.

Cisco’s recently-formed Growth Team is tasked with growing both Cisco WebEx and Cisco Spark. We are a diverse, cross-functional, rapidly moving team with deep expertise in marketing, product management, engineering and data analytics. We are laser focused on iterating across the user journey in order to provide better experiences for users while also driving adoption and revenue growth for our product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior Product Manager on the growth team you will own the growth roadmap for our collaboration products and be responsible for driving engagement and retention.

You will use both quantitative and qualitative means to deeply understand our customers’ needs; you will create innovative solutions to meet those needs; you will work with cross-functional teams to deliver those solutions; and you will carefully track the key business metrics and behavioral analytics in order to continuously and iteratively improve our customers’ experience and business results. You will also manage and mentor other product managers to do the same.

 Who You Are

  • You are a creative product manager that is able to effectively balance business, engineering and technical requirements in order to deliver solutions that delight customers and deliver business results.
  • You are an exceptional communicator and comfortable communicating with a broad range of stakeholders and customers.
  • You have strong user empathy and business judgement.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with engineering and design teams to define, scope, and drive a strategic roadmap that aligns with business priorities and customer needs. Responsible for strategic planning to tactical creation of user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria, and working side by side with the User Experience team to bring them to fruition for the team.
  • Identify key insights and develop business case requirements by analyzing data, market trends, and competitive products.
  • Be the champion for product & customer success KPI’s and continually seek paths to drive improvements. Rapidly test and iterate hypotheses to improve metrics.
  • Conduct customer research and usability studies to identify opportunities that improve the overall product experience.
  • Collaborate with product marketing to support go-to-market plans for product releases, PR events, and customer outreach.
  • Identify potential partners to extend value proposition and champion new integrations
  • Support customer care teams by communicating new features, providing training materials and assets, and attending customer care events.
  • Be an evangelist for the product and drive the vision of our new online appointments product throughout the organization.
  • Manage and lead a team of world class product managers to do the same.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant product management experience in ecommerce, SaaS, or relevant technology company.
  • Experience as a product manager on a high growth consumer or B2B application.
  • You are a creative problem solver with strong “product instincts” about how best to address users’ needs through software.
  • You are familiar with common UI and behavioral design patterns and know how to use them to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present to senior executives and key stakholders.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Experience conceptualizing, defining, and commercializing new product features for end users
  • Experience working closely with data to derive actionable insights and learnings
  • Experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment. Experience “owning” and prioritizing the product backlog for a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; team player that can work with various cross-functional departments to get things done
  • Enjoy working in a fast paced, high-output environment in a rapidly evolving market
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.

 Additional Qualifications

  • Previous experience on a growth-focused product team desired.
