Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Product Manager with experience managing product lifecycle and agile product methodology to join our Product team at Autotrader. 

As the Senior Product Manager, Client Solutions, you will be responsible for strategizing on industry-leading digital advertising products and solutions for Autotrader’s OEM/Automotive brand clients. You will work closely with product leadership and sales teams to create solutions for OEM clients and help develop proposals that cross various Cox Automotive companies (Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book, Dealer.com). This multi-disciplined role will require a high-level of visibility and strong relationships with Sales Leaders, Product Managers, Ad Operations, and Client Partners. 


Responsibilities:

  • Develop responses & external materials that help win new business, optimize and retain existing business 
o Collaborate with sales teams to develop creative and compelling solutions in response to advertiser requests and provide support to internal teams in activation of solutions
o Work with Ad Ops/Finance/Inventory Yield Management to track sell-through and associated revenue of advertiser solutions. Monitor product to proactively identify ways to optimize consumer and revenue performance.
o Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations/Training to strategize on and present sales marketing and training materials to ensure the product portfolio is effectively translated to meet sales’ needs and presented in a consistent and digestible manner both internally to sales and externally to clients and agencies.
o Seek opportunities to maximize client value by aligning products and solutions across multiple brands across the Cox Automotive Media portfolio
  • Translate and make actionable marketplace feedback for Product
o Bring Client/Sales/Marketplace feedback to Product Management for consideration into Roadmap planning
o Use RFP process as a way to innovate in line with product strategy
o Work collaboratively with product owners to stay informed of active product initiatives and evolving roadmap
o Proactively work with product and content to bring new packages and opportunities to sales based on time of year and marketplace/sales demand (e.g. Upfront, product launches, test opportunities)
o Stay abreast of trends, business and technology developments within the digital advertising and automotive landscapes to inform product roadmap
  • Champion the value and benefits of our products to Sales and the marketplace
o Provide subject matter expertise (SME) for Autotrader brand
o Provide sales support at the OEM Brand level

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience building multi-media digital products or related relevant experience
  • Functional and conversant understanding of common digital ad platform and product capabilities across desktop, mobile web and app. Familiarity with common ad platforms including; DFP, Moat, BlueKai, Adobe, Omniture, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience to manage multiple simultaneous initiatives to successful completion
  • Experience in digital media including ad product management, ad operations and ad technology 
  • Experience and understanding of the automotive ecosystem including OEMs, Dealers and Certified Pre-Owned is a plus 
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver your product portfolio
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and nimble environment which can pivot very quickly to reflect the changing needs of the company or industry
  • Outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity and collaborative approach to work and ability to build consensus
  • Ability to think strategically and to translate ideas into actions
  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • Up to 15% travel is expected to spend enough time with clients to develop a keen understanding of their needs.
