Position Summary


Walmart eCommerce serves up millions of products to millions of online customers every day. To deliver an awesome experience, we must offer the richest, highest quality, and most compelling product assortment on the planet. We’re looking for a dynamic Senior Product Manager to help drive this effort. We need a product champion who understands the value of great digital content and the importance of data quality. This PM leader will identify market opportunities, develop winning strategies, drive roadmaps and requirements, collaborate with talented engineers, deliver stellar platforms and features, and effectively evangelize the vision to senior stakeholders, partners and colleagues alike.



  • Maintains a deep understanding of customers’ needs, the product and the competitive landscape.


  • Identifies unmet external and internal customer needs and develops product strategies and roadmaps that meet those needs.


  • Gathers input from a variety of internal and external sources to define product concepts.


  • Responds to the needs of customers throughout the development process.


  • Leads feature definition, planning and implementation efforts.


  • Coordinates with cross-functional teams during the entire lifecycle of product development.


  • Proactively identifies problems that arise, outlines options, and recommends solutions.


  • Champions the needs of customers and stakeholders throughout the development process.


  • Operates effectively and independently, even in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity.


  • Convincingly communicates product vision, solutions and benefits to customers and stakeholders.


  • Champions company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.



Position Description


  • Proven track record of delivering top notch products that meet market needs and delight users.


  • History of fostering strong cross-functional relationships between engineering and business stakeholders alike.


  • Strong execution skills and ability to “drive” throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch.


  • Ability to develop and implement a business strategy and make dynamic adjustments as landscapes shift.


  • Demonstrated technical acumen with an ability to understand and communicate technology solutions and tradeoffs to multiple audiences.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to executives, business and engineering alike.


  • Domain knowledge in e-commerce, online advertising and/or analytics.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.


  • 3-5 years product management experience.


  • Good sense of humor!


Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field and 5 years experience in product management, business consulting, or related field

  • 2 years supervisory experience.


Additional Preferred Qualifications


  • Proven track record of delivering top notch products that meet market needs and delight users.


  • History of fostering strong cross-functional relationships between engineering and business stakeholders alike.


  • Strong execution skills and ability to “drive” throughout the product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
