What You'll Do

You will define the enterprise license strategy for Cisco ONE Software to accelerate Cisco’s software business. Your time will be spent engaging with customers, partners, and account teams to validate and refine the licensing approach and pricing for Cisco ONE Software. You will lead a cross-functional team to develop and release new licensing models for Cisco’s infrastructure (network, compute, storage) software portfolio. Directly engagement on high-profile customer opportunities to position Cisco ONE Software and enterprise license agreements. You will contribute as a core team member on cross-project efforts to grow Cisco’s software business.

Think start-up in a big company. This team is responsible for defining Cisco’s software strategy and managing the cross-company software portfolio. This team is focused on a  strategic realignment of Cisco’s enterprise software business, encompassing billions in software revenue across Networking, Servers, Cloud, Security, Collaboration, Data & Analytics, and our Application Platforms.

The Software & Solutions Office is driving a transformation across Cisco to improve the company’s ability to deliver solutions built on intelligent networks to solve customer challenges. We’re doing this by developing and executing a consistent software strategy across Cisco, to bring a software capability on par with the company’s strength in devices and services.


Who You Are

● Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math; Master’s degree preferred

● 5+ years leadership experience in technology environments, preferably software

● Willing to travel up to 20%

● Base location – San Jose, CA

● Superior problem structuring, solving, and analysis – ability to develop complex financial models

● Market analysis, product strategy, product definition, and competitive analysis

● Comfort with ambiguity, especially as part of a transformational effort

● Cross-organizational collaboration with ability to influence without authority
