Description

The role of the Senior Program Manager is to coordinate the activities and program planning for cross functional areas and requirements to ensure that deadlines are being met and the overall goal of the program is being executed.

This role is responsible for working with partners across the organization to align program support to the overall business objectives and product roadmap.
Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to work at multiple levels across the organization are keys to this position.

PROGRAM LEADERSHIP
• Participate in program planning efforts spanning multiple solution groups
• Lead programs throughout the program lifecycle
• Ensure programs are completed in accordance with scope, budget, risk mitigation, dependencies, and time constraints to achieve the stated outcomes
• Coordinate efforts requiring multiple work streams to accomplish stated outcomes
• Assist leadership in change management efforts
PROGRAM COMMUNICATION
• Ensure alignment on program requirements, priorities, and deadlines
• Provide status updates and facilitate program meetings and cross-functional awareness updates
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
• Manage budget and benefits plan for assigned program, monitor program progress and adjust resources and priorities accordingly PARKING LOT ITEM
• Coordinate resources (staff, equipment, vendors and consultants) across one or more programs
SPM TEAM
• Partner with SPM teams to support the development of program management processes , tools and best practices


    Qualifications

    • BS degree in related field or relevant work experience
    • 7-10 Years experience in technology related activities for large scale enterprise projects
    • PMP Certification preferred 

    • Demonstrated experience in leading large, complex enterprise programs and projects to successful execution
    • Strong interpersonal skills around communications at all levels in an organization
    • Demonstrated experience gathering requirements and facilitating requirements gathering sessions is required
    • Experience in automotive industry a plus
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently

    • Hands-on with the ability to thrive under the pressure of a fast-paced organization
    • Creative thinker that posses learning agility and ability to explore new areas and opportunities
    • Highly quantitative and data oriented; Detail oriented with the ability to provide and analyze data and make sound strategic business decisions.
