The Team

We are looking for a high-energy, detailed oriented individual who will be responsible for building a strategic sourcing model for subcontracted partners that is agile, cost-effective, scalable, and global. The Senior Program Manager - Partner Supply Chain Strategist is a senior level resource who will report to the PHM Senior Director and will be responsible for leading the development of the AS partner strategy for Strategic Sourcing inclusive of Policy and Governance enforcement. The Partner Supply Chain Strategist will also interlock with several other AS initiatives including Workforce Optimization, Talent Strategy, Market Segmentation, and Portfolio Management. This role will collaborate with various groups across AS and will work very closely with Global Procurement Services (GPS) and the Senior Program Manager - Vendor Management Process Owner in the AS Transformation Office.
Role & Responsibilities
A highly visible and business impacting role. You will work directly with all the groups across AS and within Cisco Services to:
* Define, develop, and document the AS subcontracted partner strategy.
* Develop a strategic sourcing methodology to conduct a continual evaluation of the subcontracted partner resource needs across AS and tightly aligns with GPS to drive the best possible leverage of our purchasing power.
* Improve the current methodology for monitoring and reporting the subcontracted partner processes and policies.
* Align with the Workforce Optimization initiative and interlock with the AS resource management process to analyze delivery demand in order to identify and drive a set of selection criteria for when to use Cisco versus partner resources.
* Work with HR and the Talent Strategy team to identify future talent needs and determine where Cisco resources will be focused and where partner resources will be leveraged.
* Ensure that the partner strategy aligns with the AS Market Segmentation process and supports a Cisco or partner led GTM model.
* Align with the AS portfolio team to develop a methodology to identify which services will be delivered in a Cisco led model and which services will be delivered in a Partner led (outsourced) model.
* Requires a strong relationship with Cisco Global Procurement Services to streamline activities and achieve business SLAs.
* Collaborate with an ecosystem of experts to achieve the above.
Minimum Qualifications
* Supply chain and strategic sourcing expertise
* 10+ years strategy and planning experience in a services environment
* Demonstrated vendor management and experience
* Six Sigma certification/experience preferred
* BA or BS in Finance, Business Administration or similar
* MBA, highly preferred
* Business consulting qualifications and 5+ years' experience preferred
* Very proficient in the following software tools: Microsoft Project, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
* Demonstrated experience managing teams of SMEs and analysts
* Demonstrated experience in leading large programs
* Has advanced negotiation and presentation skills
* Extensive industry experience and is comfortable working in a cross-functional team environment that is global in reach.
