Description

Senior Recovery Specialists are negotiators and are to review analysis and identify exposure situations within the NextGear Capital branch portfolios. 

Once identified, plans to address these accounts need formed.  Plans will range from simple “passive” follow up to direct negotiations and / or collateral recovery.

Execute Timely Collection Efforts.

Senior Recovery Specialists are assigned Default accounts and initiate collection efforts at 11 days  (Collection efforts are initiated immediately on TRAUMA accounts.)  The DRAM will exercise efficient and effective collections tactic in required timeframes designed to maximize

NextGear Capital’s mitigation efforts. These tactics lead up to and through a law suit.

Exercise good Judgment.

Senior Recovery Specialists should constantly be evaluating the situation’s “health” and be ready to protect NextGear Capital’s investment at all times. Decisions to end negotiations, rekindle workout plans and / or to deal with collateral should all be in the hands of the DRAM. 

Objectivity and prioritization are key qualities.  Good judgment is crucial.

Basic Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Field Operations as assigned to identify, monitor and resolve default accounts .

Create and maintain Collection Management Report for each identified default accounts.

Assist Field Operations to reduce delinquency and write off percentages.

Provide objective perspective for the company relating to initial analysis and progress of at risk accounts.

All other duties as assigned by company.


Qualifications

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Microsoft Office

Highly organized

Refined skills of Negotiation and conflict resolution

Ability to communicate to all Socioeconomic levels

Refined skills of loss prevention and collections

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

5 + years collection experience required (commercial/auto loan collection experience preferred)

Must meet monthly collection movement goals
