Description We are seeking a highly motivated scientist with experience in murine models of immune-oncology or immunology to join the immunology group at Rinat, a Pfizer biotech research until in South San Francisco, CA. They will contribute to the discovery and research and development of innovative, protein-based immune-oncology therapeutics.

+ Design and execute in vivo studies of immune-targeting in murine tumor models.

+ Analyze and interpret the results to draw meaningful conclusions, and trouble shoot where necessary.

+ Diligent record-keeping of studies, and write technical reports for regulatory filings.

+ Work within a fast-paced environment independently, or as part of a team.

+ Good verbal and written communication of results to manager and team members.

+ Present well-prepared presentations at group meeting, and will be expected to actively participate in scientific discussions.

+ Attend internal scientific seminars, meetings and training courses where appropriate.

**Education and Experience**

+ BS in biological sciences with 6+ years of experience, or MS with 5+ years in pharmaceutical industry or academic setting.

+ Minimum of 2 years' experience with in vivo models of oncology &/or immunology.

+ Experience maintaining a mouse colony, and with tissue necropsy is preferred.

+ Experience with flow cytometry and in vitro cell functional assays is preferred.

**Technical Skills**

+ Hands on experience with syngeneic and xenograft mouse models of cancer including sub-cutaneous tumor implantation, tumor caliper/imaging measurements, i.v. or i.p. drug dosing, survival analysis.

+ Experience with PK analysis and in vivo distribution of antibodies is highly desired.

+ Proficiency with tissue harvest and cell dissociation is strongly preferred.

+ Technical expertise with mammalian cell culture immune cell functional assays, multi-color flow cytometry and ELISA is preferred.

+ Experience with analysis software such as FlowJo, Graph Pad Prism, Excel is required.

+ Must be highly motivated with excellent organization and planning skills.

+ Must be willing to learn and adopt new experimental techniques.
