We are seeking a creative and highly motivated Senior Scientist with experience in immunology, vascular biology, or oncology to join the cancer immunotherapy group. The successful applicant expresses a keen interest in basic biology research and in developing novel therapies. Expertise conducting in vitro cell biology work as well as research in mouse models of cancer and/or inflammation is a requirement. The candidate will have the ability to work in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment and is expected to move novel drugs to clinical development through close interaction with protein engineering, bio informatics and clinical teams.


+ Discovery and evaluation of novel immunotherapy targets through internal and external collaborations.

+ Design and execution of cell based functional and biochemical assays to select candidate molecules for clinical development.

+ Design and execution of drug mechanism of action studies using in vivo mouse models and ex vivo methods, such as cell sorting, multi-color flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence, and human and mouse primary cell culture.

+ Collaboration with bio informatics group to conduct computational analysis of RNAseq and CyTOF data sets.

+ Communication of research results to team and company.


+ PhD and 1-3 years postdoctoral training or equivalent experience in the fields of immunology, vascular biology, or tumor biology, with experience in T cell, dendritic/myeloid cell biology, or tumor immunology.

+ Understanding of immunological processes active in the tumor microenvironment.

+ Expertise in standard immunological techniques.

+ Motivated to keep up with the relevant research field, through literature and scientific meetings, and a willingness to learn.

+ Experience with drug development is a plus.


Ability to work with laboratory rodents for extended time required. Extended periods of sitting and standing.
