*Role Description*

We are seeking to hire an enthusiastic and team-oriented scientist with demonstrated expertise in cancer immunotherapy to lead, or collaborate in teams, to explore the preclinical biology around allogeneic CAR T cell therapy and modifications of CAR Ts for solid tumor micro-environments.



*Responsibilities*

Primary Duties:*Design and execute in vitro and in vivo preclinical studies to understand allogeneic CAR T activity, GvHD and rejection *Contribute to a collaborative group effort to consider next generation allogeneic CAR technology*Contribute to a collaborative group effort to choose CAR T modifications or evaluate drug combinations to enhance CAR T activity in resistant solid tumor models*Collaborate with technology development group to inform future manufacturing process improvements for allogeneic CARs*Participate in collaboration on CAR T targets with Cellectis and Servier*Stay abreast of latest scientific and technology advancements in the field*Contribute to a culture that embraces continuous learning and development



*Qualifications*

*PhD with 2-5 years post-doctoral training preferred with significant relevant experience in cancer immunotherapy, preferably in the area of T cell therapy*Experience of target validation and candidate selection is essential *Knowledge of cellular and molecular immunology with an emphasis on T cell immunology experience*Ability to design and execute in vitro and in vivo cancer immunotherapy models including humanized mouse models and syngeneic models*Pro-active attitude and strong desire to contribute to new biology*Strong oral presentation and communication skills*Desire to be part of a team working together to overcome obstacles *Ability to perform complex data analysis*Ability to analyze and interpret work published in the field and use it to place our work in context.*Ability to occasionally travel for work is required.
