Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for our Eden Prairie, MN location responsible for designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using the following automation tools: Jenkins, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Chef and Artifactory. Develop and deliver software applications for the healthcare industry using JAVA/J2EE, Spring, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Hibernate, iBatis, Oracle, Websphere, Tomcat, REST and SOAP Web Services. Responsible for Scripting with Maven, Gradle, Windows batch, Unix shell and Groovy to automate Enterprise applications. Integrate and support Source Code Management tools GitHub and Subversion. Integrate and automate code quality analysis with SonarQube, security analysis with HP Fortify and functional testing of Selenium projects with CI tools. Responsible for onboarding applications into the Continuous Delivery toolset. Developing, maintaining, and supporting automated build, deployment, release efforts for Optum Hedis Solution, Optum Care, Subrogation and Health Manager. Duties will include: (1) Integrating and configuring with Jenkins, AnthillPro, Microsoft Team Foundation Server continuous integration platforms and Source Code Management tools Github and Subversion; (2) Creating Continuous Delivery Pipeline to automate build, unit test, sonarqube analysis, hp fortify analysis, functional test and application deployment; (3) Designing and developing technical solutions for J2EE based applications and Web services from business requirements (4) Developing scripts in maven, gradle, ant, windows batch, unix shell and groovy to support application automation; and (5) Contributing to the strategic efforts to identity and implement the next generation continuous delivery tool set.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5 years related, progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.
  • Will accept experience gained concurrently
  • Must have demonstrated experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: 1) Designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment using the following automation tools: Jenkins, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Chef and Artifactory. 2) Developing software applications using JAVA/J2EE, Spring, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Hibernate, iBatis, Oracle, Websphere, Tomcat, REST and SOAP Web Services. 3) Scripting with Maven, Gradle, Windows batch, Unix shell and Groovy to automate Enterprise applications. 4) Integrate and support Source Code Management tools GitHub and Subversion. 5) Integrate and automate code quality analysis with SonarQube, security analysis with HP Fortify and functional testing of Selenium projects with CI tools.
