This position is within the HR Reporting and Process Management (HRRP) team as part of Prudential’s HR Services function.  This incumbent will report to the Process Management Team’s Director and is responsible for providing HRIS reporting as well as cyclical HR process and project knowledge/management in support of Human Resource Consultant (HRC) client groups. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Gathering and providing HRIS data reporting to the HR Business Partners in support of their client needs relative to the various HR cyclical processes (year end compensation, succession management, etc.)
  • Coordinating the update of HRIS systems hierarchies in a timely manner to enable accurate and reliable reporting
  • Ensuring HRC and Communities Of Practice contacts receive an outstanding customer experience on every contact through on-time delivery and production of work that meets or exceeds expectations
  • Working both autonomously and in a team environment to collaborate and provide HR Support with the Relationship Managers supporting Business Partners, Corporate Centers, and extended HR Community
  • Developing practical and creative solutions to complex problems while fully addressing systems, rules, procedures, quality, controls, and metrics.
  • Thinking ahead and taking action to create opportunities or prevent future problems by recognizing trends or changes in the business areas or customers themselves, and also sees ways to leverage internal systems more effectively.

  • Three ( ) years in an analytical role
  • Prior HR experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, as evidenced by the proven ability to interpret business needs and translate data into reports that identify key metrics and trends
  • Proven ability to support process improvement plans leveraging innovative solutions (e.g. designing an automated solution to a manual process)
  • Proven ability to provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Prior experience communicating and working at all levels of the organization including executive levels; discretion / confidentiality a must
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a larger team
  • Detail-oriented with proven organizational and project coordination skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning
  • Proven ability to work independently on multiple tasks with commitment and willingness to see issues through to resolution
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office
  • Proficiency in Excel required
  • BS/BA or equivalent preferred
  • Working knowledge of HRIS (Cognos, PeopleSoft ) and / or MS Excel and the formula and data management functions
  • PHR / SPHR certification, a plus
  • Knowledge of Tableau or other visualization tools a plus
