Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in Operations and applies this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Defines and designs Operations processes (for example, supplier interaction, monitoring tracking information) by improving day-to-day execution of processes; collaborating with cross-functional partners (for example, Merchandising, Engineering and Distribution Centers) to solve complex, short- and long-term problems and ensure the needs of the customer and business are met through process execution; providing external partners with operational information, requirements, and performance measurements; and communicating with external partners to ensure compliance with the operational requirements.

Executes process improvement and cross functional projects for Walmart Operations to completion by identifying areas of continual process improvement and improved operational efficiency; driving special projects by leveraging knowledge to solve problems and generate enhanced sales, reduce expenses, and improve customer experience; providing insight for project scope; communicating expectations to relevant parties; and driving progress and ensuring timely completion.

Researches and resolves issues for Operations by generating and reviewing exceptions reports; identify root causes of issues and exceptions; identifying and implementing solutions that drive sales and reduce expenses; directing and supervising cross-functional resolution efforts; driving and ensuring the timely resolution of problems and resolution external partners; and escalating complex issues to manager.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Uses and explains major process steps to manage time, resources, and challenges to meet goals.City:SAN BRUNOState:CAPosition Description:Order Management is a GEC team located in Bentonville with a reporting structure completely in California. Our small team has responsibility for overseeing the outbound customer order shipment from thousands of locations and this particular position will be responsible for managing the overall systemic and operational flow of orders throughout the network.

Essential Functions

Partner with DSV Ops team to ensure that suppliers meet operational performance standards, while always preserving the customer experience.

Consistently works closely with business partners to define operational processes, to improve day-to-day execution, while continuously providing recommendation for long and short term systemic/operational issues.

Partner with Lab teams to modify and create logic for proprietary applications and reporting, while continuously monitoring existing application performance.

Aide in various adhoc projects ensuring logic, functionality and operational criterias are being met and coincide with the order management trajectory.

Logistics, Transportation and/or Merchandising experience

2+ years work experience that demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook

1-2 years of being part of Supply Chain or eCommerce Operations
