The Treasurer`s Systems area of PGIM Investment Operations and Systems provides technology support for the Prudential Global Funding (PGF) business unit.  This vacancy is for a Developer to support the implementation and ongoing production support of the Calypso Collateral Management System and Summit Derivatives Trading System.  PGF utilizes Calypso to track and manage its collateral agreements, positions, exposures, and calls for its bilateral legacy OTC, cleared OTC, and listed derivatives portfolios.  Calypso is a vendor supported, Java-based client/server application hosted in-house at Prudential.  PGF utilizes Summit  to track and value derivatives trades for the Enterprise. Summit is a vendor supported C based system hosted in-house at Prudential. We provide overall production support, business systems analysis, software testing, and software development support for our implementation of Calypso and Summit.

  • 5 years IT working experience preferred;
  • Strong experience working with C , Java, J2EE with emphasis on core language features;
  • Knowledge of Unix, Oracle SQL, Scripting language;
  • Current working knowledge of how to work with data formats such as XML, CSV;
  • Experience developing and supporting scalable enterprise level applications;
  • Ability to work in a team, self-motivated and organized;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver production quality software within tight schedules;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred;



  • Experience utilizing a trading system vendor-based Object Oriented
  • Toolkit/API and Data Model (i.e. Calypso, Summit)
  • Basic knowledge of Derivatives.
