AT&T Entertainment Group is looking for an exceptional and motivated content
metadata architect to join our team.



**Key Job Responsibilities**



+ Define, evaluate and recommend entertainment metadata ingestionand publishing architectures including metadata and poster art sourcing, metadataworkflows, metadata standards/ID systems, image processing, taxonomies/ontologies,mapping of metadata to industry data models as well as creating common metadatamodels for various subject areas to support cross-functional use cases

+ Define requirements for the ingestion and consumption of new metadatasources including lifecycle, data quality check, transformations and metadataenrichment

+ Develop and iteratively evolve common data models for subjectareas to anticipate and satisfy multiple cross-functional use case whilemeeting desired performance and scalability

+ Create/drive adoption of metadata naming conventions, metadatadefinition (i.e. business glossaries), dictionaries, taxonomy/ontologies andstandards for AT&T entertainment metadata structures

+ Ensure appropriate processes and automation are in place tomanage quality and lifecycle of the metadata flow

+ Regularly review metadata quality reports and recommendremediation if necessary

+ Provide subject-matter-expertise to product and vendormanagement for metadata technology and vendor selection

+ Partner with technology and business leaders across the company,understanding current state architecture and future state requirements, tocorrelate business value with technical solutions

+ Define optimal long-term metadata architecture and the short-termsteps to achieve that vision.

+ Communicate and follow-up with stakeholders on actionablefindings and solution implementation.



**Basic Qualifications**



+ Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, system analysis or a related field,or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of 5-7 years working in an Information Management (orequivalent) role

+ Solid knowledge of architecting, integrating, and operatinginformation and data management technologies

+ Passionate about driving design consensus across multiple teams

+ Deep understanding of services oriented architecture, system andreliability, software architecture, enterprise application integration, andoperational support issues.

+ Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills in the faceof ambiguity, excellent attention to detail and good business judgment.

+ Ability to communicate across technical and non-technicalaudiences



**Preferred Qualifications**



+ Experience with major entertainment metadata sources (e.g. Nielsen/Gracenote,TiVO)

+ Combined hands-on experience with the following techniques andtools:



+ Variousdata modeling types – conceptual, logical, relational, dimensional, canonical(messaging, XML, JSON) especially with NoSQL databases, and experience withdata modeling tools (ER Studio experience a plus) and development modeling (e.g. UML)

+ Abilityand willingness to be hands-on including use of SQL, ETL tools, scripts, etc.to tune performance, data transformation routines, reporting etc. whennecessary

+ Experienceof Open REST API a plus



+ Self-starter possesses flexibility to work in a fast-changingenvironment and ambiguous situations

+ A passion for customer experience combined with businesscuriosity and a strategic viewpoint

+ Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment whenworking in stressful situations

+ Decisive, confident, and experience with influencing others

+ Strong sense of urgency and personal commitment

+ A strong intellectual curiosity to continually challenge whatexists and explores what should be changed to best meet evolving business andmarket

+ Practical experience of any Agile Development Framework (e.g.Scrum, SAFe)
