What you'll do at

Fortune 1 is looking for an addition to our Blue Team! Walmart is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Incident Handler with a passion for Information Security and a strong understanding of security monitoring and incident response.

The Senior Cybersecurity Incident Handler is a very experienced, seasoned, and well-rounded defender, belonging to Walmart Technology’s Blue Team, protecting the globally distributed information assets of the world’s largest company through an understanding of realistic adversary TTPs (Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures). As a member of our SIRT team, the Senior Security Incident Handler is a member of a world class team that the last line of defense in protecting company and customer data from our adversaries. This individual will also lead significant strategic projects, help enhance critical SIRT capabilities, and provide input to help ensure Walmart remains an industry leader in Incident Response.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field and 7 years' experience in information technology or related field within the last 11 years OR 9 years' experience in information technology or related field within the last 11 years.

Preferred Qualifications

•3 years' experience integrating new technologies into existing technology portfolio.
•4 years' experience creating and presenting technical strategies and technical solution recommendations.
•4 years' experience leading cross-functional teams.
•7 years' experience in physical and/or digital information and/or incident handling consistent with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards.
•7 years' experience in system intrusion investigations.
•7 years' experience with firewall rules and filtering, intrusion detection and/or prevention devices, or penetration testing for networks and stand-alone devices.
•7 years' experience with network infrastructure and/or architecture security.
•7 years' experience with programming languages (for example, C/C++, Python, Perl, HTTP, PowerShell).
•Certification in computer incident response tools and processes (for example, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Intrusion analyst (GCIA)).
