Daily Operations
  • Dispatch to Clinical site for onsite IT Support
    • New User Setup IT Equipment (Add/Moves)
    • Troubleshoot Network/Server Infrastructure Issues (Circuit Outages, Network Connectivity, Server Health and functionality)
    • Respond to Network Monitor Alerts (Endpoint Virus/Malware Alerts, Down Alerts for Servers/Network Devices)
    • Install/Troubleshoot Medical Devices (EKG, Spirometers, PACS Systems, etc.) – This can be trained

OptumCare Integration & Standardizations Projects for So California Region (Long Beach to Carlsbad)

  • Infrastructure Server Setup
    • Build and Configure Server with VMware and MS Windows Server Roles (Domain Services, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Print Server)
    • Configure Windows Server Group Policies
  • Endpoint Configuration & Deployment
    • Image Workstations/Laptops (Windows 7 or 10)
    • Thin Client Provisioning Configuration for Exam Rooms
    • Network Printing Setup and Troubleshooting
    • Citrix Receiver Support and Troubleshooting
    • Endpoint Security Knowledge – Windows Disk Encryption (BitLocker), Symantec Anti-Virus)MS Office Suite Support (Outlook/Exchange, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Vendor Engagement for Integration Build Out
    • Understanding of Network/Server Rack build out and Power requirements
    • Work with Cable Vendor to provide Data/Voice Drop Requirements
    • Internet Circuits – Dispatch to Site for Telco/MPOE Access for circuit delivery or troubleshoot
    • Local IT Resource for UHG Real Estate Services initiated Projects (Convergint Alarm/Badge Systems) for Optumcare

MOB – Maintenance of Business

  • After Hours On-Call Rotation between Clinical IT Techs
    • 1 Week Coverage based on Region
    • Respond to IT Related Issues after hours (outages, IT related issues that arises that impact patient care)
  • Engineering Maintenance Weekend (Once a Month)
    • Clinical IT Support Services dispatched to Optumcare Clinics on during Monarch Engineering Maintenance Weekend activities to test/validate Infrastructure or Endpoints (Examples: upgrade of the IP Phone System, upgrade of Corporate Wireless, etc)

Required Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Windows Server Administration (Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016)
  • Windows Server Distributed File System
  • Proficient in VMware vSphere configuration and administration
  • Proficient in Citrix/Xenapp Administration
  • Project management
  • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to travel locally and work off hours and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Field Technician experience in support of SMB networks
  • Digital X-Ray PACS Systems Administration
  • Medical EKG/Spirometry peripheral setup and support
