As a member of the System Integrator team, the Testing Specialist is responsible for developing, reviewing and analyzing formal test plans and test strategy documents to ensure the delivery of quality software applications. Handle projects of high complexity within one or more development environments. Work on multiple programs/systems as a project team member.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to maintain the linkage between program business requirements, system requirements and to test cases, and test results
  • Develop and maintain a Verification and Validation (V&V) Document based on the RTM
  • Review each system-level CR and associated test plan(s) developed by the system maintainers and verify that requirements allocated to each system have been adequately addressed and are traceable throughout the Program lifecycle
  • Coordinate, track, monitor and report status of testing activities
  • Perform simulation or Design and execute tabletop exercises
  • Support integration testing to validate high-risk key system interfaces using scenarios that span multiple system boundaries
  • Conduct meetings with Stakeholders, impacted systems and SMEs
  • Assist with developing meeting agendas, meeting materials, meeting minutes, capturing Action Items and Risks
  • Create and maintain Test schedule
  • Utilize testing knowledge and experience to assist Test lead / Manager on the progress of the testing activities
  • Analyze, create workflows, documentation and perform peer reviews
  • Create documentation to support and describe the testing processes
  • Work independently with minimal supervision to understand requirements, analyze existing test scenarios and add new scenarios to bridge any gaps
  • Conduct and organize meetings independently and create formal presentations, test approaches, test plans and test strategies
