Services Contracts Manager, Legal Services

What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
*Review and approval of standard and non-standard Statements of Work (SOWs) for Customers
*Review and approval of standard and non-standard Statements of Work (SOWs) for Subcontractors (back to back SOWs)
*Advise and assist the Services Sales teams during SOW negotiation with Customers
*Advise and assist the Services Sales teams during negotiation with Subcontractors
*Determine appropriate actions and solutions for the more complex legal and business issues related to the services offered.
*Able to apply policies to the deal and render guidance with a view to achieving best solution for Cisco and Customer
*Provide advice and contract interpretation to Cisco senior management on the provisions of specific agreements as well as legal issues that might impact the business.
*Secure proper approval on nonstandard legal, financial, technical and business issues raised in contract documents
*Participate in and lead departmental and cross-functional teams focused on continuous process improvement.
*Assure conformity and consistency in application of Cisco legal and business policies and practices.
*Support the training requirements of client organizations by providing presentations on key legal/contract issues that impact the business.
*Other duties as assigned

Who You Are
The ideal skills and qualifications for this role are as follows:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent with 5+years industry related experience. Legal qualification preferred.
*The individual will demonstrate the capacity and strong desire to learn new things and quickly apply that knowledge to specific tasks.
*Strong background in contractual law related to the provision of services.
*Detailed knowledge of commercial, contract and business law.
*Experience supporting a multi-jurisdictional regions
*Commercial and financial knowledge an advantage
*Experience in commercial negotiation with customers and/or subcontractors
*Ability to translate commercial/legal scenarios into simple language, business issues professionally.
*Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation and persuasion skills, including the ability to weigh and articulate the risk and benefit of various scenarios and propose effective resolutions.
*Ability to work successfully with various levels (mid to senior management) across geographies. The individual will have the ability to operate well in a cross-functional team setting, and foster strong relationships with the sales teams, support team members, suppliers, partners or customers.
*Basic technical knowledge of IT industry
*Ability to manage a high volume workload
*Ability and willingness to take independent decisions and actions
