Job Details

Responsible for ensuring a stable production plan is maintained in the system for all site resources, and that the sequence is optimized for efficiency within 10 weeks (Pack) / 12 weeks (DP). Oversees team of Site Planner/Schedulers to ensure adherence to site planning processes and collaboration with Operations to handover the schedule and reflect unplanned and planned changes in capacity in the production plan. Reacts quickly and decisively to resolve last minute issues impacting plan execution. Liaises with Operations to discuss labor planning and review changes in expected capacity availability; ensures accurate capacity is reflected in the system. Responsible for reviewing capacity projections during site PoR generation and representing Site Planning team at S&OP and ORM meetings. Responsible for building capabilities of Site Planning team to enable transition into new global planning process. Oversees the activities related to the areas of materials, artwork and PARS projects.


+ Bachelor Degree in Business, Engineering or Science. Special courses, workshops or seminars related to Materials Management. APICS certifications are desirable.

+ Spanish and English proficiency (oral and written)


+ Minimum of 7 years of related manufacturing material management experience

+ Minimum 3 years of direct production planning experience in pharmaceutical environment

+ Strong knowledge of production and capacity planning, shop floor control, distribution planning and inventory control

+ Strong experience/knowledge in MRP, SCIMS, Manugistics and RCS

+ Knowledge of cGMP

+ Knowledge of RFT tools

+ Strong supervisor experience
