Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver solutions to improve the availability, latency, scalability and efficiency of UHG’s services
  • Ability to solve problems with systems that provide our critical services
  • Plan and execute configuration management
  • Automate resource provisioning and allocation process
  • Create automation to prevent recurrence while automating response to all non - exceptional service conditions
  • Engage in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance analysis and system tuning
  • Demonstrates a knowledge of infrastructure, development and operations
  • Provides thought leadership to issue resolution regarding internal and external technology matters - while searching for a proactive approach
  • Participates in enterprise wide projects for system stability
  • Responsible for the escalation of High Priority Production issues
  • Execute your work in such a way as to comply with the company’s internal compliance policies and directives
  • Help design and build the systems that give us the ability to scale our data centers without scaling the number of people to manage them
