The Social Worker for ARU Fulfills the needsof patients, families and community by providing Social Work services in accordance with his/her licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. They assume the responsibility for coordinating and facilitating services for patients during and subsequent to admission to the acute rehabilitation unit. ARU Social Worker conducts discharge planning, coordination of care, and other planning and counseling activities to effectively move the patient through the continuum of care in a cost-effective and resource efficient manner. Responds effectively to new and changing work assignments.

Job Requirements

Education/Qualification Bachelor's degree in Social Work Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
