The successful candidate will be part of the Deployment Project Management Team under Portfolio & Customer Strategy within EUTS. You will work with 10 – 12 Project Managers deploying software throughout a very large enterprise (up to 180,000 workstations).  Responsible for successfully coordinating and managing software applications related to: adding new applications, upgrading existing applications to newer versions, and the retirement of obsolete / no longer supported applications.  You will collaborate with various business teams throughout organization to plan and execute software deployments through automated deployment methods (Altiris).

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Interact with internal and external customers to gather project requirements and act as liaison between customers and the design team
  • Simultaneously lead several complex projects with varied, multiple deliverables, team members and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management
  • Communicate job status information to all team members
  • Promote smooth workflow and communication between departments
  • Create and manage timelines for all projects
  • Ensure workflow progresses efficiently and projects/staff are organized as priorities shift
  • Maintain job tracking and time keeping database
  • Maintain and update project status report and run weekly status meetings
  • Help enhance and improve department processes
  • Communicate consolidated project milestones and deliverables for readiness
  • The ability to generate detailed project status reporting (including critical path impact, dependencies, milestones, resources, cost, work breakdown structures, etc.).
  • The ability to work in a matrix environment across cross-functional teams
  • Workflow design, implementation and management experience
